Pupils to get an extra gift.

PUPILS at New Pasture Lane School have something to look forward after YEDL gave the school money to buy the children a Christmas present each.

Headteacher Sue Tompkin said the school had considered cancelling its Christmas fair because some people would not have enough money to spend at the event, however YEDL is providing raffle prizes and selection boxes for every pupil and the fair will go on.

There will also be a party with a buffet for children, staff and parents.

The school was affected and is still without computers but Mrs Tompkin said they will be up and running next week and it now has a working phone …
