Two partners in the Albany law firm, Maynard, O'Connor & Smith, have left the firm to start their own private practice.
"We just thought it was time to form our own partnership and spread our wings. There were no disagreements, the breakup was completely amicable," Hacker said Thursday. He and Cusick will lease office space at 623 New Loudon Road, across from Hoffman's Park.
Hacker said the partnership will be a general law practice, offering litigation services.
