Oklahoma St tops Stanford 41-38 in Fiesta Bowl

GLENDALE, Arizona (AP) — Brandon Weeden threw for 399 yards and three touchdowns and Quinn Sharp hit a 22-yard field goal in overtime to give Oklahoma State a 41-38 win over Stanford in college football's Fiesta Bowl on Monday.

The teams put on an impressive offensive show in the most anticipated postseason game outside the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) title matchup between No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama.

Stanford (11-2) had a chance to win in regulation, but Jordan Williamson hooked a 35-yard field goal wide left as time expired. He also missed from 43 yards in overtime.
