Bush apology might soothe McCain

George W. Bush could begin making peace with John McCain byapologizing for any offense he gave in referring to the senator'scancer-stricken sister, according to former McCain presidentialcampaign operatives.

During the battle for New York Republican primary votes, McCainsupporters criticized a Bush radio ad attacking a McCain vote againstbreast cancer and noted Sandy McCain Morgan had been found to havethe disease.
