NSW: Man arrested over teenager's shooting death

SYDNEY, Dec 9 AAP - A man, believed to be the father of a teenager charged with his
best friend's murder, has been arrested by police in relation to the same shooting.

Josef Cruickshank, 14, was shot during a sleepover at a rural property on Silverdale
Road at Orangeville, in Sydney's south-west, about 10.15pm (AEDT) on Saturday.

His 14-year-old friend, who called triple-0 after the shooting, has been charged with his murder.

Police said a 40-year-old Orangeville man went to Camden Police Station about 2pm (AEDT)
on Tuesday, where he was arrested. They would not confirm the man's relationship to the
charged boy.

The man was being questioned in relation to the shotgun used in the fatal shooting,
smh.com.au reported.

Police said no charges had yet been laid.
